Welcome to the no-frills, straight talking website of Preterist-UK. 'Preterist' is a name that DOES NOT describe a certain Christian Movement or Denomination but is purely a word used FOR EASE. It describes ‘how’ one interprets The Bible. That is, PROPERLY and IN CONTEXT as opposed to delusionaly and out-of-context (which sadly is the common approach used amongst most of those who call themselves Christians).
You are either a true ‘born-again’ believer (i.e. Christian) and can give a clear testimony of your salvation experience, or you are not, no matter what label you stick on your lapel. Neither does it matter who you are or 'think' you are, what you believe or 'think' you believe, what you've got or 'think' you've got, what you do or 'think' you do or what group of people you belong to or 'think' you belong to.
Our own hearts and the world around us scream out that man is corrupt. We HAVE to be born-again and you either have or you haven't. It's as simple as that and no amount of clever arguing, self-delusions, Confessions, Creeds, works, etc, is going to change it.
There is an eternity of difference between being a 'true' Christian and being merely religious!!!!!!! Which one are you?
It should be noted here that there has been in-depth study of the arguements used against the IN CONTEXT (i.e. Preterist) approach to Bible interpretation. It can be stated though that they can all be easily refuted and rejected. Staunch traditionalists however, being unmoveably biased and firmly prejudiced (and MOSTLY unregenerate) believe what they have been TOLD to believe and have spent countless years fixing into their minds, regardless of truth. Nothing but the mercy and grace of God can help these.
Summary:
This website cuts through superstitions and corrupt, centuries old traditions and outlines ONCE-AND-FOR-ALL the 'real' message of Christianity and 'how' a born-again Christian should properly interpret The Bible (who ALONE the Scriptures really come alive to). To all others The Bible will remain merely a form of Instruction Manual on 'how' to live coupled with some vague hopes for the future. BE PREPARED!!!!!
